Intensive Overview
Format: Online intensive (unless you're in Perth - then join us in person!)
Training Focus: Matwork and Reformer form the essential starting point, with full studio equipment training following later in the year. Why Mat and Reformer First? These two apparatus lay the essential foundations for all movement skills and practices. When you understand how to work with these core pieces, everything else in the classical system becomes clearer and more accessible.
Important Note #1: No classical reformer needed; original exercises work on modern reformers, and you’ll learn why some contemporary cues don’t apply to classical principles.
Important Note #2: If you are away on a specific date, you will receive a recording of that day’s lecture. We don’t want you to miss out on the whole course because you’re not able to attend one day
This program is for you if:
You are living with hypermobility, dysautonomia and its associated complexities, whether or not you have a formal diagnosis. You have tried movement approaches that did not account for your body. You are ready to do this differently, with support from someone who understands why that matters.
